My hope is that our work together will be highly collaborative and that you will gain more insight into the complexities of your life. I am a trauma informed therapist who utilizes art-based therapy as well as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I thoroughly enjoy working with individuals and couples who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, narcissistic abuse, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. Additionally, I use neurofeedback to help you in furthering your healing.

I strongly believe in the mind-body connection, and this means that our thoughts, feelings, beliefs and attitudes can positively or negative affect our biology. When we attend to the bodies signals it can often have a profound effect on our mind, and when we attend to our mental struggles our bodies have a greater chance to heal. I attribute this belief system to my mother who was born and raised in the Philippines and is an Ayurvedic doctor who raised me in several foreign countries and exposed me to a variety of different cultures.

While in the U.S. Army during the 90’s I was a Behavioral Scientist and I often used Family Systems Therapy to assist unit commanders in optimizing individuals strengths. Additionally, I have taught Pilates for over 13 years and have obtained a master’s certification in Clinical Nutrition from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and studied homeopathic as well as naturopathic medicine.

When I am not working, I enjoy hiking the local trails and visiting eateries in the area. I also enjoy traveling, reading, writing, and dog-cuddling.
