“Yes, today I hope you look at yourself and you are kind.” -Sophia Diener
In a world where we often have to shrink to fit in or hide parts of ourself that make others uncomfortable, my hope is to provide the safe space you need to be your true, authentic self. Being open about your life can be a very scary thing, but I believe there is beauty in being vulnerable and that true healing comes out of vulnerability and connection. The good news is, you do not have to walk through that discomfort alone. Regardless of what brings you to therapy, I hope that we are able to create a sense of peace through our work together.
I have a lot of experience working with children but my enjoyment working with parents has led me to work with adults as well. I still have a strong passion for working with children and teens, and childhood hurt, regardless of what age an individual is ready to start processing that hurt. I also identify as an ally to the BIPOC and LGBT communities and welcome individuals of any background into my office. I hope that regardless of your reason for starting therapy you feel safe and supported here.
