“We don’t have to do it alone, we were never meant to.” – Brene Brown
If you are to find yourself, your family, or your child struggling, the best thing you can do is to seek out someone to listen and empathize with your situation. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for my clients. What you’re looking for is not out there, it is within you. I use a client-centered approach to help you find those answers within yourself.
I have extensive training in play therapy and years of experience working with children ages 4-12. I love teaching parents ways to support their child with emotional and behavioral issues while also strengthening the parent/child relationship. I also have a passion for helping clients struggling with Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs). PMADs are the most common complication of pregnancy— affecting up to 1 in 7 new mothers and 1 in 10 new fathers. These disorders include postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, and PTSD. If you are struggling to adjust to these major life transitions, I would love to walk alongside you on your journey. I welcome clients of any age, background, or presenting problem. The Dalai Lama once said, “Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.” You deserve to get the help you need, so call 479-372-7446 today to book a session via Telehealth or in person.
