“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” – Lao Tzu
The question is, do you wander until you are confused, directionless, hopeless… or do you look for a guide with experience who will share and teach what they have learned? I’m here, I’m ready… Let’s GO!
Terry is providing care virtually through video sessions. Terry’s experiences as a Vietnam veteran started him on a journey through a variety of life changes. His work background includes aviation, construction, and entrepreneurship, which surprisingly led him to a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. He enjoys guiding people to happier lives as they more effectively cope with stress, anxiety and depression, create healthier relationships, or successfully adjust to unexpected change.
Terry embraces the unconventional and nontraditional uniqueness of human experience. There are no cookie-cutter people or solutions. Terry utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and incorporates theories of attachment, mindfulness, and positive psychology to assist clients in developing cognitive and emotional skills for growth. The need to successfully navigate life’s challenges is something we all have in common.
Terry enjoys the splendor of Northwest Arkansas, hiking the trails and taking long walks with his wife in beautiful places around the area. He is an ardent enthusiast of wildlife photography. He also enjoys music, reading, woodworking, landscaping, and home-improvement projects.
